About Me

Artsy-Fartsy chic: I am many things, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, friend, registered critical care nurse, quilter, seamstress, knitter, needlework artist, painter, goddess. Being a goddess in your own mind helps to remind us to care for ourselves so we may care for others. I quilt because I love it, I paint because I love it, I nurse because I love it.(20 years and counting) Two of my three daughters quilt, 2 of my daughters are grown and have families of their own. All 3 daughters have artistic talent. My dream would be to have all 3 together in a business that incorporates art, quilting, design, fabric dyeing, silk painting, stained glass or any combination of the above. LOL. I have been quilting for 19 months however, I have been doing needle crafts,sewing and painting for more than 38 years. Wow, that's a long time. I have taken to quilting like a fish to water. More info to come, for now I have some quilting to do!
